Building My Own Browser MCP: why I stopped faking a browser and started borrowing a real one
The thing that started this was small and stupid. I asked my agent to read a Reddit thread for me, and it came back with a page that said “Whoa there, pardner.” I tried a different link. Same thing. I tried a page from a documentation site I was logged into, and it cheerfully summarised the login wall for me.
